Job Overview:

Main responsibilities include suggesting, selling, and upselling a full menu of ticket types to patrons entering
or inside Saratoga Racecourse using any applicable ticket software. Ticket types can include, but are not
limited to admission, seating, dining, and premium hospitality. The Box Office Representative will identify and
troubleshoot any physical or digital ticketing problems that may arise, demonstrate a helpful understanding
of general track information and always deliver exceptional customer service. Additionally, select position
locations will be responsible for maintaining and distributing will-call tickets.
Position locations: Gate A Box Office, Gate B Will-call booth, Gate D Will-call booth, The Stretch Sales Desk,
Ding Sales Desk

Essential Functions:

 Sell, upsell, and suggest ticketing options to on track patrons
 Identify and troubleshoot ticketing problems
 Greet and welcome patrons to the track
 Maintain and distribute will-call tickets to patrons
 Learn and use any applicable ticketing software(s) or reservation system(s)
 Demonstrate a helpful understanding of general track information
 Deliver exceptional customer service
 Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned

Qualifications:

 High school or some college preferred
 Customer service experience preferred

Summary of Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

This role is primarily sedentary and performed in an office or office-like environment with no special physical demands required. The position involves extended periods of sitting with intermittent standing and walking, as well as occasional bending, reaching, and other routine movements typical of a professional workplace.
The role requires regular hand manipulation, including daily typing and repetitive hand movements while working on a computer. Occasional light lifting (generally up to 10 lbs., and infrequently up to 30 lbs.) may be required.
The work environment does not typically expose the employee to hazardous conditions. There is minimal exposure to environmental hazards such as moving mechanical parts, fumes, extreme weather, or high-risk work areas. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.

Pay Range / Salary: $18.00
