Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to create data-driven strategies that improve our company's processes and increase our market share. Deliver operational, strategic and tactical customer insights that help drive NYRA Bets’ overall business strategy. Develop daily, weekly and monthly reports that provide a 360-degree view of the NYRA Bet customer. Help define the customer value and lifecycle, identify campaign triggers, perform customer segmentation and suggest improvements to ensure relevant customer data is captured and accessible for reporting and analysis and inclusion into strategies that increase customer loyalty and wagering activity. Provide operational support of the ADW and Content Management lines of business. To be successful as a BI Analyst, you should have a passion for data and a highly analytical mind.

Essential Functions:

Develop and maintain functional expertise in database analytic tools employed by NYRA and NYRA Bets.

Develop standardized customer reporting and communicate statistical and accounting data into simplified, actionable formats.

Produce reports and utilize key insights and implications generated from those reports.

Analyze all published reports for credibility, consistency and adherence to established business processes and rules.

Interpret results and offer summary insights, conclusions and recommendations as appropriate.

Collaborate with NYRA Bets Marketing Dept. to understand customer behavior and assist with promotional initiatives.

Leverage database(s) and provide reports on transaction activity.

Deliver recommendations and conclusions drawn from analyses of internal and external data sources.

Create and manage customer segmentation specific to loyalty.

Serve as an in-house data expert on NYRA Bets wagering initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related analytical field or an MBA
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in business analytics, data mining, or a related field.

this position is sedentary in nature, sitting at a computer for extended periods of time.

Pay Range / Salary:  $23.88 - $32.24
